Our model shows that the thermal conductivity of the exfoliated polymer/clay nanocomposites decreases with increasing the clay volume fraction due to the large surface area of the exfoliated clay layers. Furthermore, the experimental results of the exfoliated polymer/clay nanocomposites recently reported in the literature are explained by using this model.Read More
