Title: INFLUENCE OF ADRENERGIC RECEPTORS ON GLUCOSE-INDUCED HYPERINSULINEMIA OF OBESE MICE
Abstract: It has been generally accepted that adrenergic receptors are mediators of insulin release from the pancreas. Agents blocking the β-adrenergic receptors are capable of partially and temporarily inhibiting insulin secretion. Therefore the effect of β-adrenergic blockers on glucose-induced hyperinsulinemia of obese mice was examined.
