Title: Dimensionner les zones tampons enherbées et boisées pour réduire le transfert hydrique des produits phytosanitaires
Abstract: L’implantation de zones tampons permet de limiter le transfert hydrique des polluants, notamment des produits phytosanitaires, vers la ressource en eau, en complement de pratiques culturales respectueuses de l’environnement. Le choix du type de zones tampons a implanter et du lieu ou les positionner dans le bassin versant est essentiel et est aborde dans un article conjoint dans ce numero (« Limitation du transfert hydrique des produits phytosanitaires par les zones tampons : caracterisation de l’existant et propositions de dispositifs correctifs et complementaires », Bernard et al. ). Apres avoir etabli ce diagnostic precisant le type et l’emplacement des zones tampons, l’etape suivante consiste a adapter les dimensions des zones tampons choisies en fonction des caracteristiques du milieu. Ces caracteristiques (sol, presence de nappe, type de culture, climat, topographie) influencent en effet fortement leur efficacite. Pour accompagner les maitres d’oeuvre dans cette etape lors de la definition de plans d’action, Irstea a mis au point un guide de dimensionnement des zones tampons enherbees et boisees [CARLUER et al ., 2011]. Ce guide decrit l’utilisation de differents outils et logiciels libres qui permettent de dimensionner ces zones tampons en fonction des caracteristiques respectivement de la surface contri - butive a la zone tampon et de la zone d’implan - tation de la zone tampon. En particulier, le modele vegetative filter strip modeling system (VFSMOD) [MUNOZ-CARPENA, 1993], adapte aux conditions de presence de nappe sous la zone simulee, permet de simuler le fonctionnement hydrique et le transport des sediments au sein des zones tampons. Cet article presente la demarche utilisee, les outils correspondants et l’application du guide sur un petit bassin versant (la Fontaine-du-Theil, Ille et- Vilaine).
