Title: Lung cancer risk due to radon exposure for 10 or 20 years
Abstract: Lung cancer risks due to lifetime radon exposure are given in the BEIR VI report. However, exposures for shorter periods of time are of practical interest since exposure to elevated levels of radon may occur and end at any age. This study aims to produce practical data of lifetime relative risks due to radon exposures for 10 or 20 years, and at various radon concentrations found in most homes from 50 to 500 Bq/m3.
