Title: Effect of thermophysical properties of the PCM and heat exchanger material on the performance of a latent heat storage system
Abstract: A two-dimensional theoretical model based on enthalpy formulation of a latent heat storage system has been developed. Numerical calculations were made to study the effect of thermophysical properties of phase change materials and size, thickness and type of materials of the container on the performance of the system, to take into account the large variations in the thermophysical properties of the phase change materials, the used variables were converted into dimensionless parameters.
