Title: Effect of medium composition on the production of cellulases by Trichoderma reesei M-7 in a repeated fed-batch cultivation method
Abstract: The effects of feed-rate and medium composition on cellulase and lytic enzymes production by Trichoderma reesei M-7 were examined in a repeated fed-batch cultivation method with a feed-medium containing 200 g/L lactose. The highest cellulase activity (28 FPU mL −1 ) was obtained in a culture filtrate of a feed-medium, which contained in addition 1 % yeast extract, and at pH value of 4.3, the productivity of cellulase was 82 FPU −1 × h −1 . Substitition of yeast extract with an extract from corn or invariably with a peptone «aminobak» had a negative effect on the biosynthesis of cellulases by Trichoderma reesei M-7
