Title: Migräne - Klinik, Diagnostik, Therapie und Prophylaxe
Abstract: Migräne ist eine chronische, biologisch begründbare Erkrankung des Gehirns, das eine hohe Einschränkung der Lebensqualität mit sich bringt. Migräne betrifft ca. 10-16% der Bevölkerung. 20-30% der Betroffenen erleben eine Migräne mit Aura, eine fokal neurologische Störung, die der Migräne vorausgeht oder sie begleitet. Drei wesentliche Aspekte in der Migränetherapie sind zu berücksichtigen: Vermeidung von Triggerfaktoren, akute Schmerz- und Symptomenkontrolle, medikamentöse Intervalltherapie. Wichtig ist die frühzeitige Akutbehandlung in der Attacke. Neben Analgetika, sind Triptane Mittel der Wahl. Die Intervalltherapie soll die Frequenz, Dauer und den Leidensdruck senken.
