Title: Nuevas contribuciones en el comportamiento cinegético de la Cueva de Amalda
Abstract: When in the archaeological sites there are bones and lithics assemblages, they are interpretated as a human behavior concequence. How ever the interpretations are conditioned by the chronology of the archaeological site. In the Middle and Lower Pleistocene archaeological sites the roll of humans in the bones assemblages is discussed versus the carnivores opening a old hunting-versus-scavenging debate. Contrary a this interpretations, the rol of humans in the bones accumulations of Upper Pleistocene and Upper Palaeolithic bone assemblages is assumed, and they are interpretating as hunting sites althought they no present taphonomy studies. The Taphonomy science are show that is a tool very necessary for the interpretation of Pleistocene bones assemblages. So the taphonomy analysis should to be applied to the archaeological sites. In this paper is made one taphonomic revision of the zooarchaeology of the Amalda Cave (Zestoa, Spain) and the implication of our view are opposite to ALTUNA (1990) interpretation, so as the contribution concerning to the hunting of mountain animals in Amalda Cave.
