Title: Spatial and polarity precision of High-Definition transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-tDCS)
Abstract: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique that applies low amplitude current via electrodes placed on the scalp. tDCS can modulate excitability in the brain depending on the polarity of stimulation. The 4x1 High-Definition (HD) tDCS ring configuration has been studied in recent years due to its improved spatial control. This spatial control was explored through MRI-derived finite element models. The resulting cortical electric field was interpreted as a correlate for stimulation and modulation.
