Title: Immiserizing growth with interregional externalities of public goods
Abstract: If an impure public good is provided non-cooperatively and its externalities are different across regions, the paradoxical result of immeserizing growth may occur because of the reaction of the other regions to the public good. A welfare implication of the impure public good case is opposite to that of the pure public good case and the private good case.
