Title: The Interaction Energy, Field Strength and Force Acting on a Pair of Dielectric Spheres Embedded in a Dielectric Medium
Abstract: A rigorous mathematical method is found for finding the electrostatic interaction energy, the field strength and the force acting on a pair of nonconducting dielectric spheres embedded in an aqueous solution of dielectric constant 78.30. A numerical method is found which amounts to a method of successive approximations that is stable even when the two spheres are at contact separation.
