Abstract: We discuss the relation between current algebra sum rules and dynamical assumptions. We show that the unsubtractness assumption, which leads to the Fubini sum rule, is untenable in certain kinematical configurations. The discussion of a Reggeized dynamics allows to justify such sum rule and to understand the peculiar singularities present in it.
