Title: An analysis of averaging procedures in a Riemann solver for compressible flows of a real gas
Abstract: An analysis of various averaging procedures is undertaken for an approximate Riemann solver for the one-dimensional equations governing the compressible flow of a real gas. This study draws on earlier work for the Euler equations with ideal gases, and is ultimately intended for use with the equations governing two-dimensional steady and unsteady compressible flows of both ideal and nonideal gases.
