Title: N,N-Disubstituted n-Aliphatic Amides as Repellents for four Cockroach Species
Abstract: Eight of 48 N,N-disubstituted n-aliphatic amides were very effective repellents in laboratory tests against the German cockroach, Blattella germanica (L.), the American cockroach, Pertplaneta americana (L.), the brownbanded cockroach, Supella longipalpa (F.), and the Oriental cockroach, Blatta orientalis L. N,N-Diethylnonanamide gave 100% repellency against all 4 species.
