Title: Airborne estimation of particulate emissions from stacks: A feasibility study
Abstract: Abstract The use of a new airborne measurement and analysis technique to obtain long term stack emission rates of metal particulates has been explored. Comparisons are made of the metal-to-SO 2 ratios obtained from airborne and in-stack measurements conducted at the INCO 381 m chimney in Sudbury, Ontario. The results show that this technique is promising. Recommendations regarding the applicability and limitations of the method are presented.
