Title: Perceptions of Teachers in South Florida Toward Block Scheduling
Abstract: Many middle level and high schools have moved to block scheduling to maximize instructional time and increase academic achievement. In the center of this change are classroom teachers, who have been asked to make major adjustments in their teaching methods that will keep students interested, motivated, and on task during longer class periods.
