Title: Microsurgical Management of Petroclival Meningiomas
Abstract: Background: Meningiomas involving the clivus continue to pose a surgical challenge, and their optimal management remains, to some extent, controversial. Advancements in surgical approaches and techniques made it possible to attain much better results with low surgical mortality. However, morbidity, primarily from cranial nerve neuropathies, remains significant and unacceptable. In search for better management, we reviewed all our experience in this field in a retrospective study.
