Title: A note on the distribution of the primitive roots of a prime
Abstract: In this paper it is shown that if p = 4 k + 1 is a prime such that ϕ(p − 1) (p − 1) > 1 4 , then there is at least one pair of consecutive primitive roots modulo p . Generalization of this proposition, related results, and some computational work are also discussed.
