Title: Exponentially small asymptotics of solutions to the defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation: II
Abstract: The Riemann-Hilbert problem approach is used to derive a special set of leading-order, exponentially small asymptotics as t→±∞ such that x/t→0± of solutions to the Cauchy problem for the defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation, i∂t u + ∂x2 u-2(|u|2-1)u = 0, with finite-density initial data u(x,0) = x→±∞exp (½(i(1∓1)θ)(1 + o(1)), θ∊[0,2π).
