Title: Brilliant Green—Neutral Red—Lactose Agar for the Isolation of S. Suipestifer from Pig Faeces
Abstract: By direct plating on brilliant green-neutral red-lactose agar, 23 out of 28 salmonella strains, mostly suipestifer, were recovered from artificially infected pig faeces. By plating on Endo and MacConkey agar two strains only were recovered. - By inoculation of brilliant green-teller. is acid enrichment broth which was plated at 24 and 48 hours on litmus lactose agar not one strain was recovered.
