Title: Sampling errors of analytic statistics: an empirical investigation
Abstract: In this paper methods of estimating sampling errors for descriptive and analytic statistics from stratified multi-stage sample designs are briefly reviewed. The results of sampling errors for differences between two subclass means and regression coefficients have been computed. These sampling error results are used to examine the validity of Kish and Frankel's (1974) conjectures regarding sampling errors for analytic statistics
