Abstract: A test of interests is described which is open‐ended yet objectively scorable and which yields validatory evidence for 20 of the 22 relevant interests. There is some suggestion too that the test may be useful in estimating degree of stability and social adjustment. A number of experiments have been conducted, using as subjects university and other students, naval ratings, secretaries and graduates. The test appears to be suitable for such subjects and also for senior schoolchildren.
