With this device, we detected the resonance of the cantilevered nanotube by measuring the drain current through the nanotube channel. We also estimated the induced electric charge on a nanotube cantilever using the finite element method. The amplitude of the resonance and effective spring constant of the nanotube cantilever used were estimated to be 60 nm and 5.1×10-4 N/m, respectively, corresponding to the spring constant derived with the Young's modulus of 270 GPa.Read More
