Corollary discharges are a crucial mechanism by which the brain monitors its own actions, and there is some evidence that they are impaired in people with schizophrenia. Here, I briefly review this evidence and suggest that eye movements are a particularly valuable tool for assessing the role of corollary discharges in schizophrenia.Read More
