The results indicate that the [BMIm][Lys] has a good inhibition performance for the carbon steel in 5% H 2 SO 4 solution. The corrosion inhibition efficiency improves with the increase of the concentration, which arrives at 95% ultimately. The study also shows that the inhibitors are mixed-type ones. The adsorption of the inhibitor molecules on the carbon steel surface obeys Langmuir adsorption isotherm.Read More
