Title: La « sécurité routière », un programme sans risque. La neutralisation d'un problème politique et social à la télévision
Abstract: Les traces des sources officielles dans la mediatisation de la securite routiere sont reperables a travers l’analyse des programmes televisuels (hors JT) entre 1995 et 2004, dans un contexte politique inedit, alliant grandes campagnes de communication gouvernementale et un plus grand controle de « la violence routiere ». Cette communication publique « invisible » autour d’une « grande cause nationale » parait d’autant plus efficace qu’elle se diffuse progressivement dans l’ensemble des programmes aupres de larges auditoires, tout en observant la cadence des mesures gouvernementales. La forte heteronomie de l’espace mediatique a l’egard des conceptions etatiques se manifeste particulierement en amplifiant et confortant une vision depolitisee ainsi qu’une perception individualisante de ce probleme public.
