Title: Risk management — an approach for project managers
Abstract: Risk management for the project manager is considered. The process of risk management is broken down into: identification of risk sources, assessment of their effects (risk analysis), development of management response to risk, and providing for residual risk in project estimates. Various methodologies are given in each of these stages, although it is stressed that risk management should be viewed creatively and not be tied down to a set of rules.
