Title: A system for ECG synchronised gamma camera studies
Abstract: In some dynamic cardiac studies it is advantagous to synchronise data acquisition with the patient's heart cycle. A system for achieving this is described. It was designed specifically for use with a General Electric Radicamera II and Nuclear Data Med II image processor but could easily be adapted to other installations with similar operating systems. The image processor consists of a twelve bit minicomputer with a disc operating system and disc and magnetic tape storage facilities. The processor is controlled from either a visual display unit or a teletype and acquired data are viewed on a display oscilloscope. Two modes of data acquisition are provided.
