Title: Influence of trapped magnetic flux quantum on two-dimensional magnetic field dependence of a Josephson junction
Abstract: We have measured the change in two-dimensional magnetic field dependence of a Josephson junction by magnetic flux quantum trapped in a superconducting thin film. When the external magnetic field (Hx,Hy) was applied in the two directions parallel to the junction plane, Josephson junction showed two Fraunhofer diffraction pattern in the Hx and Hy directions. However, when the magnetic flux was trapped within a Josephson junction by cooling through the transition temperature in the presence of environmental magnetic field noises, Josephson current was not periodically modulated to the external magnetic field (Hx,Hy). We have investigated the influence of trapped magnetic flux quantum on two-dimensional magnetic field dependence of a Josephson junction.
