Title: Étude du comportement polarographique de Ge(IV)
Abstract: Resume A des pH superieurs a 7, on observe une vague de reduction du Ge(IV). L'etude de la vague a montre que la reduction est irreversible et se fait de Ge+4 a. Ge° et que sa hauteur depend fortement du pH. Nous avons montre (lue la seconde vague observee par Das Gupta et Nair dans le milieu NH4Cl— NH4OH ne peut etre attribuee au germanium. Du point de vue analytique, il y a lieu de se placer dans la zone de pH de 8 a 9 ou la hauteur de la vague peut etre consideree comme constante; la constante du courant de diffusion vaut 682. Dans le milieu KCl 0.05M, la valeur de D = 0.79.1O-5 cm2/sec et E 1 2 = —1.50 volt v/SCE; tandis qu'en milieu NH4Cl-NH4OH, D = 0.89.1O-5 cm2/sec et E 1 2 =— 1.56 volt v/SCE.
