Flucytosine is a new addition to antifungal antimicrobics (3-5) and a welcome alternative to the toxic amphotericin B. We present a case of Candida albicans arthritis that was successfully treated with flucytosine.The patient was a white woman born in 1933. In 1955 Bright's disease was diagnosed. Renal function deteriorated, and hemodialysis was started in 1966. After bilateral nephrectomy in 1967, a renal transplantation was done on 20 May 1970, and she was started...References1.
