Title: Formation and reproportionation constants of mixed ligand complexes of lanthanons with nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) and β-isopropyltropolone (βT)
Abstract: Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) is a versatile complexing agent which forms many complexes with bivalent and trivalent ions[1]. During complexation with lanthanones NTA occupies four coordinating sites of the metal ion. β-isopropyltropolone (βT) occupies the two vacant sites to give a mixes ligand complex.
