First, the entire bridge was divided into several substructures, and then the meta-model was built, representing the relationship between updated parameters and static and dynamic properties of the bridge. Secondly, the measured static and dynamic properties of bridges were deemed as the updated objects respectively, so FEM updating was transformed into a multi-objective optimization problem; which may overcome the difficulty of selecting the weighting factors of the objective function. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method was demonstrated by updating the FEM for a practical bridge by using the measured static and dynamic data.Read More
