Title: Aeroelastic stability analysis of wind turbine blade sections
Abstract: Aeroelastic stability of wind turbine blade sections has been studied in detail by means of eigenvalue analysis of flap and lead-lag directions based on the extended ONERA model. The paper described different influencing factors of aeroelastic stability and established proper parameter ranges. The analysis results are reaffirmed by another approach of optimization method and system response. The point to be emphasized here is that the eigenvalue methods of ONERA theory play an important role in analyzing stability and flutter of wind turbine blade sections.
