Title: Between Leibniz and Mill: Kant’s Logic and the Rhetoric of Psychologism
Abstract: A partir de la critique du conceptualisme d'Hamilton developpee par Mill dans le sens d'une theorie semantique referentielle, l'A. montre que celle-ci est compatible avec une theorie semantique cognitive, depuis Leibniz d'un point de vue abstrait et divinise, d'une part, et avec Kant, d'un point de vue empirique humanise, d'autre part. Examinant la tension entre la finalite rhetorique de la semantique theorique et les fondements de la logique inherente au psychologisme de Mill, l'A. montre que la combinaison Leibniz-Kant permet d'etablir la coexistence de la reference et de l'assertibilite au sein d'un meme systeme philosophique
