The structure, scope and the field of application of these Standards were described. The special attention has been drawn to the models of quality assurance specified in ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003. The role of the International Standards series ISO 9000, as a useful tool to harmonize the international trade in free-market economy was stressed. It was emphasized that the application of quality management and quality assurance systems according to ISO 9000 is compatible with the implementation of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system in the food industry.Read More
