Based on a review of related literature, the interviewing...The purpose of this study was to test if a behavior interviewing training of tourism major students influences on their interviewing behavior. Based on a review of related literature, the interviewing behavior was conceptualized in terms of verbal communication, articulative communication, and nonverbal communication Data for this study was collected from 64 airline service major students at K college and pre-to-post test was used to examined the effects of behavior interview training on the three dimensions of the students interviewing behaviors. The result of this study showed that the behavioral interview training significantly enhanced interviewee’s verbal, articulative and nonverbal communication skills. Results of this study also suggest that additional skills such as mock interview, role play, and feed back by visual data such as viewing interviewee’s own mock interview should be included in the training.Read More
