Title: Project Univer (Universidad Verde). 200 kWp grid connected PV system at Jaen University Campus. Final conclusion after four operation years
Abstract: The project consists in the installation of four photovoltaic subgenerators connected to the low voltage grid at Jaen University Campus. The installation is fully integrated in the existing buildings at university. This project presents two innovative aspects: on the one hand, the development of the technology required to implement medium-high scale PV plants in crowded places, mainly focused on safety and protection systems. On the other one, the development and analysis of different architectural solutions to integrate PV generators using easily replicable constructive structures. Besides all the elements required to ensure the people and installation protection, the system includes a data acquisition equipment that allow us to evaluate the performance of the system. In this sense, we have developed a telemonitoring system via the Internet that shows the operation data of the PV plant in real time and provides information about the project. All the project generators are currently installed and in operation (200 kWp). The current energy generated by the system exceeds 400.000 kWh.
