Under uv irradiation, survival iate of all studied species was characterized by a complex exponential curve with a large, sharply pronounced resistant area. An assumption is advanced that a sharp fall of survival rate during the first minutes of uv irradiation is conditioned by specificity of the protective effect of melanine pigment tint needs time for transition into the active state. Species resistant to gamma irradiation had sygmoid curves of survival rate and sensitive species had the exponential ones. Increased resistance to gamma rays was accompanied by an increase in concentration of paramagnetic-particles that were determined by the method of electronic paramagnetic resonance. Analysis of the data obtained makes it possible to suppose that the protective effect of fungal melanine is various under gamma and uv irradiation. (auth)Read More
