Title: Позиция татарского причастия на – ган и английского причастия прошедшего времени в функции определения
Abstract: In modern linguistics the comparative study of the Tatar and English languages is rather actual. The verbals particularly participles have semantic and grammatical peculiarities. For this reason, their usage and translation into the Tatar language or from Tatar into the English language often causes difficulties. For the first time on the example of past participles in the Tatar language and English Past Participles general aspects of their functioning as an attribute are described. The author examines the syntactic similarities and distinctions of the above-stated part of speech in the studied languages, to single out separate syntactic means and to analyze cases of their use, with lots of examples.
