Title: Solution convergence study during launch phase using limited tracking data
Abstract: Orbit determination accuracies during critical phases at launch, when data are available from only one station, can be enhanced using angle data with conventional Doppler and range data. A study performed on the forthcoming Japanese ETS-5 mission indicates that this requires correct handling of the angle biases. This was verified using actual tracking data received from the BS-2B launch.
