Title: CCD photometry of the SU Ursae Majoris cataclysmic variable SS Ursae Minoris (PG 1551+719).
Abstract: SS Ursae Majoris was observed from March 13 to Oct. 1 of 1989 using the BAO 60/90/180 cm Schmidt telescope equipped with a Thomson CCD. Two outbursts were observed. The short time-scale light curves at outburst as well as the long time-scale light curve are presented. The presence of a 101 min periodic superhump with amplitudes of 0.3 mag in the light curves at outburst shows that SS UMi is a SU UMa dwarf nova. At quiescence, the light curve show flickering of rather large amplitude without any recognizable periodic hump. Using the empirical relation between the superhump period and the orbital period, an orbital period of about 98 min is estimated.
