It includes a description of and results from the deployment of the initial operational capability of the WebSked system, which is a component of the Global Command and Control System Maritime (GCCS-M). These empirical results are then used to propose one promising instantiation of the scheduling command and control solution. It is shown in this work that the maritime scheduling and contingency planning domain supports tactical command and control. It is also shown that network centric automated scheduling and planning can be successfully deployed on existing classified military networks both ashore and afloat with a low logistics footprint (e.g., physical, administration) and can achieve a higher degree of information quality and timeliness than previous manual methods.Read More
