Title: To study job satisfaction level of male and female Employees in Private Sector Banks of Indore, M.P., India.
Abstract: Over the years of my own experience in corporate sector, it was noticed that though employees work in same environment and organization culture,still they do not derive the same level of satisfaction from their job. Employees who expressess/ correspond with high job satisfaction level in their jobs are more productive,highly invovled and stable in the organization than employees who expresses/corresponds with low job satisfaction level.As banks are backbone of every country this study focuses on different variables which contribute to identify the job satisfaction level in the private banks of Indore.My study will help banking sector in finding out the prime factors that affects job satisafaction of their employees.Also,it will help in finding out who are more satisfied with their job- males or females.
For reaching our goal we have studied and analyzed the job satisfaction level considering variables namely job location,working hours, job responsibilities salary structure, job security,work relationship, performance appraisal policy,reward and recognition,work-life balance, work environment,which form exclusive part in measuring the level of employee satisfaction, in various private sector banks.
After this we were able to find out the important variables affecting satisfaction and level of satisfaction in male and female employees of private sector banks.
