In the present study Arsenic toxicity was induced in Guinea pigs by feeding 1% aqueous solution of Arsenic trioxide @ 10mg/kg and 1mg/kg to produce acute and chronic toxicity, respectively. The estimation of antioxidative enzymes in the liver samples was carried out to evaluate the release of free radicals due to Arsenic toxicity which caused significant increase in the production of Superoxide Dismutase in early phase of toxicity and Catalase in later phase of toxicity.Read More
