It is shown that 11-molybdogermanic acid interacts quantitatively with malachite green in a wide range of acidity, forming three solid phase compounds of different compositions, contining 2, 4, and 8 associated cations of the dye. The compound with composition 8:1 was used to develop a highly sensitive method of determining submicro- and microgram quantities of germanium after its extraction determination in the form of GeC1/sub 4/.Read More
