Title: IMPACT OF ROAD NETWORK CATEGORIZATION AND ROAD ENVIRONMENT ON TRAFFIC SAFETY
Abstract: The authors of this paper focus on poor hierarchization of the national roads of Poland and its impact on accident risk. They describe the relationship between hierarchization of road networks and road safety. They note that the practice, in other countries, of hierarchization of the road network with clear differentiation and division of road functions seems to minimize road safety risk.
