The technological challenges include workmanship structural gauging, matrix design, origin of materials used and their experimental validation, pouring method, lifting, fixing and adjustment processes, and functioning tests. The chapter also discusses the geometrical and mechanical characteristics of the roof. The use of UHPFRC gives a monolithic solution to the requirement of watertight roofing, avoiding at the same time multiple elements and constructive layers. The jobsite duration and final cost also demonstrate that such solutions are definitely competitive. Citing Literature Designing and Building with UHPFRC RelatedInformationRead More
