Abstract: Naturally occurring vaginal flora
The human vagina represents a complex ecological niche in which more than 20 microbial genera co-exist in a delicate balance. The correct balance of the microbial flora in the vagina appears to play a pivotal role in preventing a number of infections in a woman’s urogenital tract.
