Title: First Record of Kashmir Rock Agama ( Laudakia tuberculata Hardwicke et Gray, 1827) from Kalatop-Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary, Chamba (Himachal Pradesh), India
Abstract: Laudakia tuberculata Hardwicke et Gray, 1827 was recorded for the first time from Kalatop-Khajjiar wildlife sanctuary of district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh, India. The animals are sexually dimorphic with bluish tinge on dorsal side in adult males. Ecological studies made for this species showed their diurnal and terrestrial behavior. The number of individuals was observed to increase from March onwards, reached maximum in the months of June and July, and again decreased towards the end of the year and minimal in November and December.
